CrossRoads

The Path

The Path

Can there be anything more confusing than a crossroad, to someone who’s lost? Think about it. So many options to a person who doesn’t know what he’s supposed to do next. Even if you were a statistician odds are you wouldn’t like your odds. At crossroads the chance of choosing the correct answer goes up geometrically. If you think about it we all come to crossroads every time we have to make a decision, logic then follows that we should be a little more somber to the task.
At a Crossroad one wrong turn and miles of travel are in vain.
At a Crossroad move in the wrong direction and valuable resources go up in smoke.
But at a crossroad, to one who knows the way, its an opportunity to enjoy the changing scenery. An opportunity to loose the weight of those dragging you back. As with most of life’s challenges crossroads are opportunities for either fortune or mishap.

WE ARE CONTINUALLY FACED BY GREAT OPPORTUNITIES BRILLIANTLY DISGUISED AS INSOLUBLE PROBLEMS – Lee Lacocca

A little frightening but none the less true. How old are you and how many crossroads have you been at? How many “brilliantly disguised opportunities” have you missed. A failed exam? A dying dream? A broken marriage? A bleak future? A lost job? Betrayal? etc…..

A warning! At crossroads be careful who you ask for directions. You might not be going the same way. They might be just as lost as you are. The blind cannot lead the blind. I’m not saying don’t seek guidance, my caution is from whom you do.
ONCE AT A CROSSROAD ONLY ONE PERSON CAN HELP YOU MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION.
The person who can see the end of the journey from the beginning. Who knows you better than you know yourself. Who knows the terrain better than anyone who knows where the pit falls are.. the rivers and gorges. Who wants you to succeed more than you realize!
Who knows what you can and can’t bear
Who knows your strength is little
Who knows how want to quit and how tired you are.
Who opens a door that no one can shut.
Who whispers “this is the way walk ye in it”
Yes once at a crossroad THIS IS THE PERSON, THE ONLY ONE TO ASK
