THE INVISIBLE MAN
He’s always there, reticent but attentive. He remains inconspicuous, in the shadows until you need his help. The perfect gentleman, he will not engage, until you ask for assistance. So many have opted to trudge on all on their own. They still have battle scars of fatigue and pain to show for it. I urge you today, don’t fall for the gimcrack of humanism. Logic will not be enough to get you through this. You will need a greater power flowing on your inside, to stem the tide of disappointments, deceptions and noxious experiences life will throw your way.
He has all the power to intervene but all the discipline to wait until we are ready.
Who is this invisible man? Who is this ever present, unobtrusive helper? Perhaps man is a misnomer. He is really a spirit. The Holy Spirit. He has been sent to help us all. To give all of ignoble birth, a taste of promised majesty; The heirs of salvation. He can embolden the timid and strengthen the frail. He will give hope to the despondent. You will not be met by a decrying voice or judgmental eyes. You will not receive a pittance for your faith and trust.
He might be invisible but He is invincible. There isn’t a situation that stumps him. He’s seen it all before.
He is also known as The Spirit of Truth. He will guide us. He will direct us. He comes with insider information from the throne room of God almighty. He will let us know the future before it gets here.
John 16:13-15 NLT
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me.
*Don’t go it alone.*
**Don’t ignore the Holy Spirit.**
This one decision could be your watershed.
So what have you got to lose? Take the leap. Now!
Pray with me, HOLY SPIRIT I need your help right now. I am at my wits end and tired. I need your wisdom and strength. Help me with …. in Jesus Name.
God has no interest in violating our boundaries so that he can relate to us. He understands that this would cause injuries of trust. It is our responsibility to open up to him in need and repentance. ~ Henry Cloud
